Anime RNG Defense Sources & References
The register behind every data table on this site: what each source is, what it supports, and the date it was last checked (2026-10-09). Source types that do not exist for this game are listed too, so a gap is never silently filled.
Editorial policy in one paragraph
Every game fact on this site is attributed to one of five source types — the official Roblox page and description, public Roblox API reads, dated editorial code trackers (Destructoid, Eurogamer, PCGamesN, Pocket Tactics, Pro Game Guides, MrGuider), named fan-maintained community wikis, or this site's own dated maintenance records. The site-wide reference check for the current research pass is dated 2026-10-09.
In practice: official text (the Roblox description and API reads) outranks every other source; editorial trackers are quoted with their refresh date, and when two trackers disagree — as Destructoid and Eurogamer do on UPDATESUNGOD and several expiries — the pages show both claims instead of averaging them; community wikis support orientation and naming but never an exact number; and a claim without a named source is left off the site entirely. The codes page applies these rules per code, and the update timeline applies them per update.
Sources in active use
Official surfaces first, then the dated trackers and named community wikis this site actually consults.
| Source | Type | What this site uses it for | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Roblox game page | Official — primary source | Title tag and update era, official code in the description, feature list, group direction, platform list. | 2026-10-09 |
| Roblox games API (universe 9940812243) | Official API — public read-only | Creator identity, creation date, server size, live description text, and volatile counters (visits, players, favorites). | 2026-10-09 |
| Roblox groups API (Mera., group 33724194) | Official API — public read-only | Creator group identity, verified badge, owner, member count. | 2026-10-09 |
| Eurogamer — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | October 6, 2026 refresh (checked October 9): working/expired code lists including SHUTDOWNKAISEN, roll-count thresholds (10k/25k/50k/100k), reward descriptions, redeem steps, the auto-rolling description of the game, and the official-Discord announcement channel; earlier September 29 refresh covered the Gear 5 family. | 2026-10-09 |
| Destructoid — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | October 8, 2026 refresh (checked October 9): JJK S2 code family (UPDATEKAISEN as 1,000 Crystals + 1 Blessed Roll, SHUTDOWNKAISEN, CLANRESIDENCE, DIVINEFORTUNE, INDEX, THESTRONGEST), UPDATESUNGOD as 75,000 Crystals, expiry conflicts (e.g. SORRYFORSHUTDOWNGHOUL); earlier September 28 refresh covered the Gear 5 family. | 2026-10-09 |
| Pocket Tactics — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | September 28, 2026 refresh: Gear 5 code family cross-check and requirement details that differ from Destructoid. The page moved from its old /roblox/ URL to this address (redirect verified October 9, 2026), but its newest refresh is still September 28, so it has not covered the JJK S2 code family; later conflicts rest on Destructoid and Eurogamer. | 2026-10-09 |
| PCGamesN — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | September 21, 2026 refresh: World Relics code family and requirement conflicts (shown both ways on the codes page). | 2026-10-09 |
| Pro Game Guides — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | July 6, 2026 page: early code history (UPDATE1/2, CURSEDHIGHSCHOOL, INNOVATIONCITY), the Crystals-unlock-traits explanation, redeem flow, and Common/Rare/Epic box vocabulary. | 2026-10-09 |
| MrGuider — Anime RNG Defense codes | Editorial tracker | July 2026 snapshot: alternative Discord-invite corroboration and early code list. | 2026-10-09 |
| animerngdefenses.wiki | Community wiki (fan-maintained) | Orientation on sections the official sources do not enumerate: maps, item families (potions, scrolls), rarity band naming (Common through Secret), build archetypes. | 2026-10-09 |
| animerngdefenseroblox.wiki | Community wiki (fan-maintained) | Cross-check on the JJK update era and Cursed High School naming. | 2026-10-09 |
| anime-rng-defense.com | Community wiki (fan-maintained) | Worlds overview (Fairy Forest, Cursed High School, Bizarre Town) and gameplay-loop framing; the site dates its own checks, which we record alongside ours. | 2026-10-09 |
| This site's maintenance records (July-October 2026) | Site records | Dated checks of the official description per update era (UPDATE7 on August 10, UPDATEGHOUL on September 11, UPDATEFIRE on September 15, UPDATEPUNCH on September 21/26 and October 1, UPDATEKAISEN on October 9), including the official-page snapshot details. | 2026-10-09 |
Refresh dates are each outlet's own stated update date; the Checked column is when this site last read the source.
Source types that do not exist for this game
These entries exist so that an absent source is never silently replaced by an invented fact.
| Source | Type | What this site uses it for | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Trello board | Does not exist (per checkable sources) | No official Trello was found in the Roblox description or in web searches on July 13, 2026, rechecked October 3, 2026. Sites citing one do not link a primary board. The links page tracks this status. | 2026-10-09 |
| Official standalone wiki | Does not exist | The creator has not published an official wiki; the wikis listed above are fan-maintained. The Fandom site animedefenserng.fandom.com documents a different game (Anime Defense RNG, place 128769272902160) and is excluded as a source for this one. | 2026-10-09 |
| Official drop-rate or stat tables | Not published by the developer | No rarity odds, unit stats, trait prices, or per-map payouts exist in official or dated tracker sources. Site calculators therefore run on user-measured inputs instead of invented constants. | 2026-10-09 |
| animerngdefense.space (former community wiki) | Retired source | Listed by mid-2026 search results as an Anime RNG Defense wiki, but on October 3, 2026 the domain serves an unrelated site. Old excerpts of it are dead evidence and are not cited. | 2026-10-09 |
The player-side checklist
- Codes: the redeem popup in game is ground truth. Our codes page marks each entry as official Roblox text, tracker-reported, or expired, with the check date.
- Update status: the Roblox page title tag and description change with each era — a 30-second look there beats any secondhand “new update” claim. The updates page records what we saw and when.
- Links: the links page separates official, community-corroborated, and retired URLs, including the lookalike-game Fandom wiki to avoid.
- Numbers: if this site shows a number (a roll threshold, a Crystal amount), the table names the outlet and the refresh date. If a page shows no number, that is because no source we can name publishes one.
